Delivery Manager

It would be easy to write this blog with AI. After all, AI has become an incredibly powerful tool to help us connect information, accelerate processes, and deliver work faster and more efficiently. But there is something AI still cannot do for us: build genuine human connections. That was one of the biggest takeaways from our recent offsite with the FOX team. As we kick off a new project with a strong AI component, we were reminded that the technology is only part of the story. The real impact came from bringing people together.

For the first time, we had the opportunity to meet many of our stakeholders face-to-face and, just as importantly, give them the chance to meet the team they have been working with for more than five years. We shared meals—yes, enchiladas and tacos—and learned that when Mexicans say something “isn’t spicy,” there may be a very different definition of “spicy” involved. But beyond the food, we talked, laughed, exchanged ideas, and created the kind of connections that are difficult to replicate through a screen. We also had the opportunity to showcase the excellence behind the work our Wizeline teams deliver every day and the spaces that enable them to collaborate, create, and operate at their best.

I have been at Wizeline for four years and have had the opportunity to visit clients and teams in many different contexts. Still, this was one of the most meaningful visits I have experienced as a Delivery Manager. It gave me a closer look at the heart of a long-standing partnership while allowing me to connect more deeply with a team I don’t always get to interact with day to day. I left these three days reminded that technology can accelerate what we do, but people are what make it meaningful. Here’s to human connection, to Wizeline, to new ways of working, and to a future powered by AI—but always guided by people.
